Theme – “Little Wings”

To aid in the development of social skills, emotional intelligence and inculcating family values, health & hygiene, respect towards nature and ultimately be one with Mother Nature, St. Xavier’s High School celebrated their much-anticipated Annual fest themed – “Little Wings” on February 18th 2024, performed by the students of Xavier’s Child Development Centre and class - I & II. Held at the conclusion of the academic year 2023-24, the fest provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents through performances like – singing, dancing, action song, skit etc.
The performance was blessed by the presence of Secretary Sir, Reeta Chourasia Ma’am, Principal Sir, Ex-faculty members and parents where grandparents were made chief guests of the fest. The programme began with the auspicious ‘Tilak daan’ and traditional lamp lighting ceremony by our guests and dear grandparents of the students. It was then followed by the inaugural address by Reema Ma’am and welcome dance performed by Class - I & II. The fest was then staged by all the five classes.
The students of M-II performed a group dance based on the theme of family bond and values. The students of Class I & II depicted the vibrant colours of India through their spectacular dance performance. The students delivered the message of conservation of nature resources and wildlife through their performances also they showered light on the changing family values and the growing differences between the old and the new generation.
The performance Tribute to the ‘Annadaata’ our farmers received much praise from the audience. The commendable performance of the choir group mesmerized the spectators and the dignitaries with their melodious voice. The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage.
After three hours of grand performances by the students the program ended with the vote of thanks, grand finale by all the performers of the day and the Nation Anthem.
