FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Fire safety awareness is an educational process to train everyone about the best practices to avoid creating a fire risk, and the measures to take in the event a fire happens. Students should be taught about fire hazards, safe practices, and emergency response techniques.
To empower students to become responsible and informed individuals, capable of responding effectively in crisis situation, one such programme was conducted at St. Xavier's High School, Deoghar on 28/10/23 for the students of Std. 6 to 10. This initiative was taken by Fire Safety Department, Deoghar, Jharkhand. Under the guidance and demonstration of Shri Gopal Yadav, Fire Safety Officer, Deoghar, students received vital information and necessary training to avoid risk arising out of fire. Shri Yadav Ji enriched students' understanding of fire and its hazards. He told them about the three essential requirements for fire to happen along with the three ways to extinguish fire. He also threw light upon the four types, A,B,C,D, into which fire can be classified.
Overall it was a new learning experience for the students because in most cases, the training becomes vital point in preventing injury or harm to property and people.
